Scarf of the Day: No. 19

Scarf of the Day: No. 19

It’s cold again today. But I had to venture out because there was too good a deal to pass up on some pie pans. 🙂

Well today I’m sharing a scarf I got at H&M. Not my local one but the one in Indianapolis.

In 2012 for Super Bowl XLVI. And no I didn’t go down to watch the game. I went to watch Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

When my brother found out that they were bringing the show for the weekend my brother got us tickets.

It was so much fun. But we had to wake up early to get down there and get in line for the tickets. We made a trip out of it so our parents went with us. After we got our wristbands we met up with them. My mom and I walked around Circle Center Mall and my dad and my brother did the Super Bowl Village.

I found this scarf and loved it. The leopard print pattern was beautiful and it’s a hint of pink. I also found some pretty bangles.

It was a fantastic day and I loved spending it with my brother, mom and dad.

The scarf today is another one that I got on sale at H&M forever ago.

I love this one. It’s so big and cozy. The picture above shows it spread out over my bed and that’s not even all of it.

For a while there I used it all the time and wore it with everything. That was before I had enough scarves to share one a day with you for the whole month.

I lost track of time working on a project so I’m posting this late at night on my way to bed.

So this is going to be short.

This scarf I made with one ball of yarn at least six years ago. I bought it on sale or clearance and that was all that was left but I loved it because it was purple and the frills in pink and white.

I cast on 14 stitches and knit in garter until it was done. I cast it off way to tight, which was a common mistake of mine. But I’ve gotten better.

Thanks for reading, goodnight.

Today’s scarf is one I didn’t make myself. It is a fabric scarf covered in butterflies.

I found this on the clearance rack at Kohl’s. We stopped in quick to find something, I can’t remember what, and I love to look at the clearance so I headed to the accessories and found this scarf.

Now I love butterflies and I was even one for Halloween a couple if years ago, so I had to have this scarf. And with it being on clearance and me having a coupon it worked out really well.
